Pilates Teacher Training Programs
Become a Confident, Inclusive Pilates Teacher
-
At Size Diverse Pilates, our mission is to help you become a confident, knowledgeable teacher who understands the Pilates Method in your own body — and can adapt it to any body.
-
One of the most valuable lessons I learned from my mentor was:
"You can’t teach others what you don’t first understand yourself." -
That’s why our teacher training programs begin with you. Whether you’re new to Pilates or have years of practice, we’ll meet you exactly where you are. You'll gain a deep, personal understanding of the method, learning how it feels and functions in your body — and from there, how to teach it in a way that supports all bodies.
Why “Size Diverse”?
-
I created Size Diverse Pilates because I wanted to send a clear message:
Pilates is for every body — no matter your size, shape, or physical condition -
As someone who practices Pilates in a larger body, I know firsthand how important it is to learn from teachers who can adapt the method to your individual needs. I was lucky to be taught in a supportive, encouraging environment — but I came to realize not everyone has that same experience. That realization inspired me to share my story and create a space where all bodies feel seen, respected, and empowered.
-
But size diversity doesn’t just mean larger bodies. It means being able to teach Pilates to:
-
Extra petite or extra tall bodies
-
Bodies navigating injury or chronic conditions
-
Anyone who might need some variations to help them improve their movement experience
-
-
When you truly understand the Pilates method, you can teach it to anyone — and we’ll show you how.
-
